Pre-Extension: Bucharest & Transylvania
3-night pre-extension in Bucharest & Transylvania - $899 per person
Day 1
Transfer to the 4-star Athenee Palace Hilton (or similar) in the heart of Bucharest with the former Royal Palace and great shopping at your doorstep. The rest of the day is free.
Day 2
A motorcoach takes you through Romania’s mysterious Transylvania; stop for a brief city tour of Brasov. Check in to the 4-star Aro Palace (or similar) followed by free time to explore. (B, D)
Day 3
Travel to Sighisoara, birthplace of Vlad Tepes, a Wallachian prince better known as Dracula. Visit the renowned fortified church of Biertan. Afternoon at leisure. (B, L)
Day 4
Today, tour Dracula’s Castle and Peles Castle, a romantic fortification in beautiful Sinaia. Afterward, we take you to your hotel or to the airport for your return flight. (B)
