3-night pre-extension - $999 per person
Day 1
Welcome to Istanbul. Transfer to the deluxe Conrad Istanbul (or similar), located near the city’s attractions.* Take a stroll around the city.
Day 2
On your half-day tour see some of Istanbul’s highlights, including visits to both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The rest of the day is yours for shopping and discovery: visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s largest covered markets. (B)
Day 3
Today you have a half-day tour of Topkapi Palace, where the Ottoman sultans lived from 1465 to 1853. Walk through the complex’s four courtyards; see its many chambers, ornate tile work and extensive collections. Afternoon and evening free for additional exploration. (B)
Day 4
We take you to the airport to fly to Ukraine (airfare included*) and join your cruise. (B)

*Note to North American guests: Airfare and transfers to and from this destination are included in your extension price only if you purchase your trans-Atlantic airfare through Viking. Otherwise, you will need to arrange your own one-way transportation from Istanbul to Odessa. You should plan to arrive midafternoon so you can board your ship in time for welcome party and dinner.
