2-night pre-extension - $599 per person
Day 1
Arrive at the Saint Petersburg airport and transfer to the Hotel Angleterre (or similar).* Take the rest of the day to relax or begin exploring the city on your own.
Day 2
After breakfast, get oriented with a relaxing and informative guided canal tour of the city. Then take the rest of the day to explore the city’s attractions on your own. St. Petersburg boasts many museums and other cultural attractions, lovely architecture and many monuments. (In the event you decide to spend some extra time in the Hermitage, please ask your Viking host to assist you with arrangements.) Later, stroll along the boulevards and bridges, sample the local cuisine or perhaps spend your evening enjoying the symphony, ballet or opera at the Mariinsky Theatre or one of the city’s other delightful venues. Day 3
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and spend some more time in the city center. Consider a visit to Yusupov Palace to see its opulent furnishings and investigate the scene of Rasputin’s murder. This afternoon we will transport you to your ship to begin your river cruise. Other cruise guests will be arriving; enjoy dinner with them on board this evening. (B)
