Day 1
After breakfast, disembark and we transfer you to the Radisson Royal Hotel (or similar) in the city center. You then enjoy an in-depth tour of the city’s world-renowned subway system, each elaborately decorated station designed by a different architect. Your afternoon is free to explore Moscow’s attractions. Walk around Red Square, tour inside St. Basil’s Cathedral, window-shop in the GUM Department Store, see the newly renovated Bolshoi Theatre. This evening, try some of the local specialties and perhaps attend a performance of ballet, opera or the symphony. (B)
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a full free day in Moscow. Visit one of the city’s many museums—perhaps the Tretyakov Gallery, one of the most notable art museums in Moscow; the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts; or the State Historical Museum of Russia. You might like to see the country’s national treasures, including jewels, costumes, carriages, the famous Fabergé eggs and much more, at the Armory inside the Kremlin. Or, ride the subway to see some of Moscow’s many parks and monuments. (B)
Day 3
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to the airport for your return flight.* (B)
