Beyond our expectations
As second-time Viking cruisers (Russia was fabulous!) we knew we’d be well cared for, but the Mekong cruise was far beyond our expectations. The (chartered) RV Tonle was a really cool ship with a capable and helpful crew. After our tour leader showed us the history and bustle of Saigon, the cruise up the river was truly a trip into a different world. Our days in Cambodia were some of the most exotic travel experiences we’ve ever had. We plan to go back to Cambodia next year to spend more time in the Angkor Wat temples. Our Viking cruise was the best introduction to this fascinating and wonderful part of the world. My wife and I have recently been studying the Viking River Cruises brochures to spot our next trip to a wonderful new location. All of the Viking staff have made us want to be regulars.

Fantastic trip

A magnificent tour
Did the Magnificent Mekong 15-day cruisetour in June, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. It was a magnificent tour, very busy, well-planned excursions, excellent tour guides and fellow passengers.

Guides were beyond excellent
This was our fourth Viking cruise and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Since I have traveled to more than 125 countries, I have a feel for good guides and excellent guides—and the two we had were beyond excellent.

It takes a lot to impress me...
I’ve traveled to over 50 countries and have to admit, it takes a lot to impress me. My Viking River Cruises trip to China was so incredible that I decided to do it a second time with my daughter and son-in-law. This year my husband and I took your Mekong river cruise. Angkor Wat has to be one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of my life. This may be another trip I will have to do again one day. Thank you, Viking, for putting together such a professional, reasonably priced, unique tour package. Each trip has been the experience of a lifetime.
