Post-Extension: Switzerland

Day 1
After you disembark, tour the lovely medieval Swiss capital of Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on your way to Interlaken, whose name means "between the lakes." Check in to the moderate first class Hotel Royal St. Georges (or equivalent) and enjoy an evening stroll. Interlaken is one of the oldest resort towns in Switzerland and it remains popular to this day—it is utterly charming, and it is completely surrounded by Alpine meadows and glorious mountain views.
Day 2
This morning, take a scenic train ride to nearby Jungfraujoch, a “saddle” in the Bernese Alps where you catch panoramic mountain views. Enjoy a final evening on your own in Interlaken. (B)
Day 3
Today, ride to Lucerne and check in to the superior first class lakeside Radisson Blu hotel (or equivalent). Enjoy a guided walk through Lucerne’s Old Town area. See Chapel Bridge, the landmark Water Tower and burgher houses. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 4
You have a full day to further explore this charming city, or take an optional excursion to the summit of Mt. Pilatus for more amazing Alpine scenery. (B)
Day 5
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. We will take you to the Zurich airport for your return flight.* (B)
