Pre-Extension: Brussels
3-night pre-extension in Brussels - $799 per person
Day 1
Transfer to the deluxe Conrad Brussels (or equivalent)* and embark on a half-day guided city tour. See the Grand Place, the old guild halls, St. Michael’s Cathedral and the famous Atomium. Take the rest of the day to explore and enjoy local specialties.
Day 2
Today, tour the Flemish cities of Ghent and Brugge, important during the Middle Ages for making fine woolen cloth and garments. See charming squares, canals and distinctive architecture. (B)
Day 3
Today, tour Leuven and Mechelen, known for beer, cloth, tapestries and lace. Or, if your cruisetour does not already include Antwerp, today will instead feature a city tour of that prominent Flemish capital. (B)
Day 4
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to your ship or to the airport for your return flight. (B)

• Treasures of the Rhine pre-extension - First day, fly into Brussels; transfer to Conrad Brussels (or equivalent)* and enjoy a free evening. Second day, half-day guided tour of Brussels. Third day, half-day tour of Leuven and Mechelen. Final day, transfer to Antwerp to embark, with sightseeing in and around Antwerp along the way.
