The best vacation
We have been on over 40 ocean cruises on many different lines and ships and Viking River Cruises surpassed them all. Our Tulips and Windmills sailing on Viking Pride exceeded all our expectations from the minute we received our travel documents. The flights were booked with care, the personnel who greeted us at the Amsterdam Airport, the entire cruise staff, the meals (truly 5-star!), the tours, the cabins—the whole vacation was the best. Viking has an open seating policy in the dining room; however, we were four close friends traveling together and preferred to sit with one another. Fortunately, there was never a problem getting our favorite table for four by a large panoramic window. In the lounges and on tours we enjoyed mingling with other guests. Viking’s relaxed format accommodated our preferences. The four of us are looking forward to doing the Grand European Tour in 2012. We are now totally spoiled for any other sort of cruise.

A wonderful trip!
Such a wonderful trip! Great ship, amenities, people and food, as well as excellent staff throughout. The history, canal tours, chocolates, tulips, windmills, art, old cities and rural settings were just some highlights of our journey. The expert guides handled the tours seamlessly and there was plenty of free time to explore, wander and rest. Thanks!

Our second Viking cruise
This was our second Viking cruise and we had a wonderful time. Everyone on board was superb. Food was great and the Program Director and his team did a first-rate job. We had such a good time that we booked our third Viking cruise, Danube Waltz, less than a week after we returned home from Tulips and Windmills.
