Treated royally
What a fantastic trip along the Nile in Egypt! Everything—including all the hotels, shipboard accommodations, balloon rides, food and guides—were very well put together and were right on target. I would recommend this to anyone. We really appreciated the unbelievable knowledge of Egypt and the intelligent and thoughtful way this knowledge and understanding were passed along to all of us in a way that we could really comprehend. We were treated royally.

Top of the line
I took the Viking cruise on the Nile and found it to be very exciting! I learned a lot of hands-on information about the ancient and modern Egyptian societies. The two guides, the staff/crew and support people were top-of-the-line.

Breathtaking, fascinating and simply outstanding
This itinerary was breathtaking, fascinating and simply outstanding. Our cruisetour was perfect, from the food and lodgings to the travel and excursions. The tour guide was phenomenal and taught us so much about Egyptian art and history. He was so detail-oriented and cheerful to boot! Touching the pyramids and seeing King Tutankhamen up close were the experiences of a lifetime.
