Day 1
After breakfast, take a tour to the Master of the Nets Garden in Suzhou; one of the finest classical gardens in China, it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After, discover how silk is made from start to finish at a silk spinning factory. Enjoy a canal ride before you have lunch in a local restaurant and return to Shanghai. The rest of your day is free to explore more of the city’s attractions. This evening dine at the hotel, or try some of the local specialties. (B, L)
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a full free day in Shanghai. Wander around Nanjing Road, explore the Bund in more detail, check out the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum, take in Shanghai’s famous Oriental Pearl Tower cityscapes, stroll through the modern financial district or take a ride on the Shanghai Maglev, the first commercially operated high-speed magnetic levitation train line in the world. Day 3
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to the airport for your return flight.* (B)
