Viking River Cruises is proud to partner with the Louisville Film Arts Institute, in a charity fund raising event on Monday, September 14th 2009 from 7:00pm — 10:00pm at CBS Studio Center. This event will help raise charitable funds to provide assistance to a variety of worthy charities such as the International Commission of Peace, Ned Beatty Hope for Children Classic, Louisville Easter Seal Center, Maryhurst school for abused children, Hollywood Cares, and many other organizations whose goals are to enrich the lives of others not as fortunate, and to make a positive impact in communities around the world. Attendees of the event include major contributors of the charity, celebrities and trade media. We hope you will join us to share in the magic of the evening and in achieving the vision of bringing arts, culture and education to all.

LISA BLOOM: Award-winning journalist and CBS News Legal Analyst, Lisa Bloom hosted truTV’s Open Court and now appears 3-5 times daily on the CNN and HLN networks. In addition, Lisa regularly appears and guest hosts television shows such as The Early Show, Showbiz Tonight and Larry King Live. She also serves as the legal expert to Entertainment Tonight, The Dr. Phil Show, and The Insider. Recently Lisa Bloom received a Telly Award for her coverage of a Rhode Island nightclub fire and its legal aftermath. Aside from being a network journalist and trial lawyer, Lisa Bloom was voted the “Best Dressed Woman on Television”

KATHRYN JOOSTEN: Kathryn is currently appearing as Mrs. McClusky on the popular, award winning series Desperate Housewives. In 2005, she won an Emmy for her portrayal of the crotchity, gossipy neighbor on the hit ABC comedy. Kathryn was also nominated for a 2007 SAG Award. Prior to joining the Desperate Housewives cast, she is probably best known as Mrs. Landingham, secretary to President Bartlett, Martin Sheen, on the critically acclaimed NBC drama, The West Wing. Kathryn appeared on Joan of Arcadia as the “old lady God.” She has also recurred on Dharma and Greg, and guest-starred on many hit television series including My Name Is Earl, Becker, Arli$$, Ally Mcbeal, Providence, Scrubs, General Hospital and over twenty other prime time shows.

BOB BERGEN: Bob has been a working voice-over actor for over 25 years. He’s been honored to be one of a handful of actors who share voicing the classic Looney Tunes for Warner Brothers and from movies such as SPACE JAM to the Six Flags theme parks. As a promo announcer, Bob is a branding voice for radio stations such as STAR 98.7 and JACK-FM and many others throughout the country, as well as hundreds of commercials. His on-camera resume includes host of the game show JEP!, the kid's version of the classic game show "Jeopardy!" on GSN and his one man show BOB BERGEN: SO, HERE’S THE DEAL! currently touring through the United States. Bob is one of the most in demand animation voice-over actors in the US and Canada and a 2 time volunteer Big Brother, and was honored as the 2007 Jewish Big Brother of the Year. |
FRED WILLARD: Fred Willard radiates a unique charm that has established him as one of our generation’s most gifted comic actors. A master of sketch comedy, Fred is most heralded for his quick wit and improvisational expertise. Fred is an alumnus of The Second City and was a co-founder of the comedy group Ace Trucking Company which appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson over fifty times as well as being regulars on the Tom Jones Show.
As a sketch performer, Fred appears on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His reoccurring character, Willard J. Fredericks brings much laughter. Over the years, he has appeared as a number of other characters on The Tonight Show. These appearances are indicative of his ability to transform any character into a unique comic portrayal. He has played such diverse characters as Skippy Hussein, President Clinton’s dog, Buddy, and Christopher Columbus. Jay Leno calls Fred, “The funniest man in the world.”
