Here is more information to enhance your hotel experience.

HOTEL SELECTION

Viking’s marketing materials and website sometimes specify a particular hotel and what its rating is (e.g., "superior first class"). The hotel listed is the one that we most often use in that city, but due to capacity constraints a similar hotel may be substituted. You will be advised well in advance exactly which hotel you will be staying in. When you receive your travel documents, your itinerary booklet will give more detail about your hotel, including the address, phone number and a description of the hotel’s locale and amenities.

HOTEL REWARDS PROGRAMS

Certain of our partner hotels, such as Hilton and Sheraton, have rewards programs for their frequent guests; additionally, it is often possible for guests to receive frequent flyer miles for hotel stays. If you are a member of any of these programs, please bring your membership cards or member numbers with you so that you can present them at time of check-in and receive your awards.

HOTEL CHECK-IN TIMES

Most hotels allow guests to check in by mid-afternoon. Should you be arriving early, the hotel will be glad to look after your luggage while you do a bit of exploring on your own, and will make every effort to make your room available as soon as possible, but there is no guarantee of early check-in.

YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Should you require a particular room configuration or have any special needs or preferences, please let us know when making your reservation, so that we may notify the hotel ahead of time for you.

BREAKFAST INFORMATION

Every Viking hotel stay includes an international breakfast buffet. These generally include a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, cereals, fruits, yogurts, etc.

VIKING HOST OR CONCIERGE

Whenever you stay in a hotel, Viking provides the services of a local host or concierge. These local experts can provide a city orientation, get you maps and brochures, assist you with booking transportation or cultural experiences, arrange your perfect dinner reservation and much more. We encourage you to take advantage of their services so that you can make the most of your time.

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY

All of our partner hotels provide Wi-Fi access for a daily fee. If you need Wi-Fi access, please be sure to ask about the arrangements when you check in. Hotel staff will provide required passwords and advise you of the charges.
