Once you register, you can begin enjoying all the benefits of being a Viking Registered Agent. Here are a few:
• As a registered agent, you will have your own personal “My Account” page. This is a convenient place to keep your mailing address and other contact information up to date.
• We will begin sending you emails according to the preferences you specify. These emails give you the very latest, up-to-the-minute information about deals you can pass along to your clients. Even more important, this is how we announce opportunities for travel agents to join us on very low-cost FAM trips. We want you on board, so you will know exactly how much your clients will love their Viking River Cruises experience.
• Once you have registered, you will have access to our dedicated travel agent portal site. This site pulls together all the information you need:
o Viking itinerary details
o Commissions and travel opportunities
o Selling and booking groups
o Marketing tools—brochures, DVDs, group guide, stationery
o Image database with logos and photography
o Stories by other agents about selling Viking or traveling with Viking
o Training items to help you quickly get up to speed, including a schedule of upcoming webinars and personal appearances and an extensive FAQ
o Regional travel tips you can share with your clients
• As one of our Preferred Agents, you will have the full support of your regional District Sales Manager and/or a Business Development team to help you sell!
• We are working on additional functionality for the travel agent portal site and will soon roll out:
o An online Find A Cruise search function
o Online booking—create a reservation and apply payments
o Your sales record for the current period, so you can track your earnings and your progress toward higher commission tiers
Need help registering?
If you are having trouble registering, here are some tips:
• We need to make sure you are a registered travel agent, which is why we require an ARC, CLIA, IATA or TRUE IATA number. If you are not sure, just type in your number and we will retrieve your agency information from our travel agent database so you can proceed with the registration process. You will be able to review this information and make any corrections.
• If you don’t have your number handy, you can still register by filling in your agency information. Fields marked with an asterisk are required and must be filled in correctly to complete your registration. We will find your agency number and fill it in for you.
• If you are still having difficulty, call the special travel agent portal hotline at 1-866-200-2012—we will be glad to assist you.
Never received your temporary password?
When you register for the Travel Agent portal, we immediately email a temporary password to the email address you provided. Sometimes these emails get caught in your Junk Mail folder, so if you do not receive it, first check there. If you did not receive the email from us at all, please follow these steps:
1. Add the email address noreply@vikingrivercruises.com to your "safe senders" list
2. Go back into the portal and request your password by clicking on the "Forgot your password" link at the top
3. Check your email again to see if you received the email with a temporary password
If these steps still do not work, please click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page and send us an email message. We will get in touch with you.
Need help logging in?
If you are having trouble logging in, here are some tips:
• Your username is the email address you registered with.
• If you have lost your password, click the “Forgot your password” link at the top of the page. You’ll be prompted to enter your email address and we will send you a new temporary password. Once you have signed on, you will be prompted to change your password to something memorable to you.
